Hold fast to dreams
For if dreams die
Life is a broken-winged bird
That cannot fly.
Hold fast to dreams
For when dreams go
Life is a barren field
Frozen with snow.

We must live our life to the fullest.
Keep make our dreams come true & don't let it go.

The author compares life with a bird.
Flying is a metaphor of freedom.
If we can't fly, we can't archive dreams.

A barren field frozen with snow
represent dead,empty or meaningless

This is what life is without a dream.

The author uses bird & a barren filed
to express the poem.
